Hello and Welcome!

 My name is Brittany, and I am the one woman show behind The Icing On Top! On my daughter Aviana's 2nd birthday, her love for Elmo inspired a friend and I to take on a themed cake and cupcakes by ourselves. It was then, in 2010, that the beginnings of The Icing On Top were born. The seed was planted but it took years of experimenting, practice, and tutorials to birth the business you see now. 

For 10 years, The Icing On Top was a part time side gig as I worked two jobs. I fulfilled my passion for baking during the wee hours of late nights and early mornings. I gave up my weekends (and sleep!), running on exponential amounts of caffeine, to build this dream.

 It wasn't until August of 2021 that I officially turned in my 9-5 and took the leap. Today, The Icing On Top is run out of my home as a Licensed Cottage Food Operation. Since a child, I have always been crafty so when not baking you can still find me creating. In my spare time, I also enjoy watching my daughter in competitive cheer.
